Our first user submitted bike here on VintageMX.net comes from Lew Milligan of Richmond, California. It is a 1965 Greeves / Triumph hybrid that he lovingly calls, his “Grumph”. Here is what Lew says about his bike:
“I built this in 1965 to use in Hare scrambles and enduro’s. CT Alloy made the rear sprocket for this. It was in Cycle News in 1965. I got 3rd overall at Wilseyville hare scrambles (near Sacramento,California) in 1965 or 1966. The main photo is taken at a motocross at China camp (about 1967) in Marin County, California.”
Thanks for the submission Lew, we love your bike!
