Vintage Motocross Tanks

 The most stand out part on a bike is the tank. It proudly says the brand name of the motorcycle. Each brand had their own style too. Bultaco had the thumbs up badge. Husqvarnas, like Malcolm Smiths had the shiny outlined area where the knee rubbed. Honda still proudly displays their wing on their tanks. Some older Maico and CZ tanks had rigid, hard lines.

 Hodaka's Super Rat tank was an eye catcher with it's all chrome look. Many of these old motocross bikes like the montesa and kawasakis had long narrow designed tanks. No matter the brand, from BSA to Yamaha, you can find used and nos tanks for sale, to finish off your restoration, and proudly show off your old beauty at the next race.
